The London Transport Museum supports teachers to make the most of their visit by providing resources and events to help integrate their students’ experience into the classroom.
Skills Late: Talent Transported
Join us on Thursday 15 November for our Skills Late: Talent Transported. From 18:45, we are keeping our doors open exclusively for young people aged 16-25, their parents/guardians, teachers and careers advisors to meet transport-sector employers with upcoming vacancies, all looking for London’s future talent now.
Throughout the year we host teachers’ evenings which provide teachers with an opportunity to learn more about our collection and sessions. In addition, we offer teacher training sessions (continuous professional development) to enhance skills and open up access to our collection and partners. These training sessions are typically STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) focused.
For more information on upcoming events, please contact us.
We encourage teachers to visit us to learn more about our exciting collection and what we have on offer. If you have booked a visit for your class, you are welcome to make a free pre-visit to the Museum. Please contact our bookings team on +44 (0)20 7565 7298 or email [email protected] to arrange your pre-visit.
If you are visiting us for a booked session or a self-guided visit, your group will have access to our cloakroom, a designated time to eat packed lunches in our Lower Deck Café and time to visit our galleries and gift shop. All group visits must be booked through our bookings team on +44 (0)20 7565 7298 or email [email protected].
