Covent Garden dinner and auction

We are pleased to announce the new date for the next annual black-tie Covent Garden dinner and auction for leaders in the transport industry will be Tuesday, 22 October 2019 at Guildhall, London. Our sell-out event will once again be hosted by Mike Brown MVO, Commissioner of Transport for London, with guest speaker Sadiq Kahn, Mayor of London.

Last year’s dinner was attended by over 450 business and political leaders in support of London Transport Museum, raising an incredible £317,000 for our charitable education and heritage preservation work.

Discounted tables will go on pre-sale to corporate supporters soon, so look out for your notification email.

Your booking includes:

  • Table for ten people
  • Champagne reception
  • Four-course meal with refreshments included
  • Access to unique items and experiences through our live and silent auctions

The evening starts with the champagne reception at 18:00. Carriages are at 11:30.

Tables sold out quickly last year so please get in touch early to avoid disappointment!

Auction items

Please consider donating an item to our auction this year, support London Transport Museum and take advantage of opportunities for great brand positioning. All donated items are acknowledged at the event in a souvenir brochure given to every guest on the night of the event, on large-format screens visible to all guests during the live auction and on silent auction tablets placed on every table and visible throughout the evening.

Recent generous donations included:

  • Tickets to ‘Day at the Ashes’ test match cricket
  • Tickets to Six Nations rugby
  • A box at the O2 to see the Harlem Globetrotters
  • Box for 10 to see Paul McCartney at the O2
  • Tickets to Crufts
  • Weekends away
  • Tickets to Old Vic A Christmas Carol performance
  • Tickets to ATP tennis semi-finals
  • Tickets to the Brit Awards 2019

We are particularly seeking donations of special experiences and behind-the-scenes access for our live and silent auctions, as these are extremely popular with our enthusiastic bidders.
