talks banner

We run a range of talks throughout the year from our curators, guest speakers and transport experts.

Our temporary exhibitions are accompanied by a series of talks exploring subjects ranging from art and design, to architecture, transport, and city living. Enjoy an after-work drink in our Upper Deck café bar before settling down in our Cubic Theatre at Covent Garden for an inspiring and thought-provoking evening.

You can also enjoy talks from a range of speakers at our Museum Depot Open Weekends and Museum Lates.

Out of sight below the Capital's busy pavements pulses a network of secret rivers. But while they may be hidden from view, clues remain.

Author and urban explorer Tom Bolton uncovers watercourses buried, hidden or mislaid across the city; those that have been culverted, placed in tunnels, or diverted into the sewer system.

Join Tom as he tracks routes that are recorded on no map, stripping back the layers to reveal London's veins and arteries.

Copies of London’s Lost Rivers, Volume 2 will be available to buy at London Transport Museum and Tom will be signing copies after the talk.
